IRINA

I have a lot of favorites, but Irina Ionesco is really it for me as her pictures capture the imagery that I find most beautiful. Her parents were supposedly circus performers and gypsies from Romania. Irina lived there for most of her childhood until they moved to Paris. She was a painter before she discovered photography and took quite a few controversial pictures of her young daughter - one of which I posted above.

I do not know who the woman is in the first picture, but I do know that her lipstick job is primo. The rest of the pictures are of a lady by the name of Renee Perle who is one of my heros, as far as fashion goes anyway.
